Very spacious room and very good bathroom facilities, considering the fact that it is in a quaint small town. The suite is very cozy and comfortable, and at reasonable price. The location is very good too, just less than 5 minutes' walk to the various shopping areas and eateries, and the rooms are just above the restaurant and bar, so it is convenient and easy to get some quick bites and drinks when it is too cold to eat out. The food at the restaurant is good too. I have tried a few other hotels in Shrewsbury, and so far this is really the best that I have stayed in. I will certainly come back again the next time I visit Shrewsbury.
It can be noisy on Saturday night when people drink at the bar. But that was ok for me as I prefer the place not to be too quiet.

The bathroom is the best thing in the hotel.
1. The interior colour of the room is depressing. 2. The privacy is bad. Once we got into the room, the house keeper opened the door without knocking. The reception should've told her that we came. 3. We hear bar's customers noise while we are in the room. 4. The fridge had only two bottles of water. Nothing else. 5. The only way to contact the reception is to get there and ask, there should be a telephone. 6. In case of emergency at night, there is no one to contact at the hotel except the neighbour.

The location was central and close to restaurants and bars. The suite was lovely and spacious, contemporary in design. Courtyard a bonus and enjoyable to sit outside with a glass of wine Bar and restaurant nice, with sofa seating in bar area to read or unwind Staff friendly Breakfast was enjoyable and sufficient and as only 4 bedroomns relaxed and peaceful than if stayed in a larger hotel.
A little expensive for the suite especially as at the front of the building on a busy road and no double glazing. Windows did not shut properly so it did get noisy. Drinks more pricey than other nice bars in Shrewsbury.

Friendly and efficient staff Excellent price for a very large suite (we paid £70) Convenient location Lovely historical features in the room
There is traffic noise from the street outside, I imagine this would be worse on weekend evenings. However, bring ear plugs and there's no problem!
